The novel idea of taking the creamiest of ice creams and mixing it with anything from chocolate chips to gummy bears was a smashing hit. This great idea, combined with a 6 to 8 month summer season, was an instant success story in Houston. Based on the expansion throughout the US and the world, as well as copy-cat companies, Marble slab seems to have hit the jackpot. The quality of the ingredients that made them famous still seems be present today despite their success, at least for the locations we visited.
