Conner Prairie is a hands-on outdoor history museum with costumed residents. There are five historic areas, which include: 1816 Lenape Indian Camp (an Indian camp where you can experience what fur trading was like); 1823 Conner House (tour of possibly the first brick home in Indianapolis), 1836 Prairietown (living the pioneer life in a complete recreated pioneer village), 1886 Liberty Corner (explore the social and religious issues of the day), and the PastPort (a hands-on discovery area).
