Hiking
Brighton
Salt Lake City UT 84121

Salt Lake City fronts the Wasatch Mountains to the east and from 15 to 45 minutes east, northeast or southeast there are some 30 or more formal hiking trails to try. A pretty thorough listing can be found at this website http://www.localhikes.com/MSA/MSA_7160.asp. We like the Bonneville Shoreline Trail, the Donut Falls Trail and the Brighton Lakes Trail. And if your are stuck downtown, no problem. just stroll a bit to East North Temple and North State Street where City Creek Park begins. You can take the path up City Creek for 1.2 miles through Memory Grove Park. For other idea's, check out this website: http://www.slcgetsfit.com/maps2.html.
