Zilker Botanical Garden showcases a diverse array of plants, both native and foreign to the Austin area. For those unusual plants, specified habitats, such as in the Isamu Taniguchi Japanese Garden, are created so as to allow those foreign plants to thrive in the Austin climate. From the Japanese Garden, to the Mabel Davis Rose Garden, Zilker Botanical Garden offers an eclectic mix of plants species. The Gardens are beautifully structured and well-maintained, with breathtaking waterfalls, clear ponds and, of course, the bright flowering plants.
